Life Sketch of Mr. Md. Mokhlesur Rahman Ministry of Land

Md. Mokhlesur Rahman is a Senior Civil Servant of Govt. of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. He was born at Khepupara in Patuakhali in 1955. He did BA (Hons) and MA in Economics at Dhaka University. He joined Bangladesh Civil Service in 1981 and served all the important positions in field administration. He was the Deputy Commissioner of Madaripur district. He has served as joint secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development. He has served as Director General of Department at Woman Affairs. He was the Chairman of Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation. Then he served as Secretary in the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employees, Food and Disaster Management and Disaster Management & Relief Division. Now he is serving as Secretary in the Ministry of Land. He has been serving the country for the last 30 years in the different capacities of the government service. He participated in many training programmes at home and abroad. He has visited several countries including Japan, France, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, South Africa, Senegal, Germany, UAE, Morocco, Tunisia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, England, Philippines and India. He is a benevolent civil servant. His vision is to serve the people in totality.
